Our Story
Wingfield Transportation is led by owner Jackson Wingfield, a Chattanooga native whose career in logistics began on the shipper’s side of the dock, managing inbound and outbound freight at Wingfield Scale & Measure. He carried that perspective into freight brokerage, where he spent the next 10+ years moving loads and building customer relationships. In 2017 he founded Wingfield Transportation and added Wingfield Trucking, our asset-based carrier, in 2026.

Our team brings more than 30 years of combined experience, and we take every load personally, from the moment you tender it to the signed POD. We’re picky about the carriers we trust with your freight, we’ll keep you in the loop before you have to ask, and if something goes sideways, we’ll tell you straight and make it right. We understand shippers because we’ve been shippers.
